Here is a summary of how to get to Amiga Barcelona
B&B. If you would like more information, check out

city website which has a wealth of really useful
information at:

From
Girona airport
This is not the main airport in
Barcelona
City but it is becoming increasingly popular due to
the increased number of low
cost airlines now flying into it. It is
located on the outskirts of Girona city and 60 km/38
miles north of
Barcelona.
From Girona airport there is a Barcelona Bus running
to the centre of Barcelona (70 minutes) which
operates immediately after flight arrivals. This
service is run by a local bus company called
Sagalés whose timetable is determined by the
expected arrival time of Ryanair flights. It is
NOT provided by Ryanair themselves so don't
assume that a Ryanair flight will wait for you if
you are on this bus heading back for Girona, it
won’t! The cost of the service is 12€ one way and
€21 go-return. Their
timetable (which is in Catalan) appears online
or look at the website for more information
www.barcelonabus.com
Once you arrive in the Barcelona's main bus
terminal,
Estació del Nord
(Carrer d'Ali Bei 80) you can walk about 10 minutes
to metro station
Metro
Arc De Triomf (Red Line,L1)
from where you can travel to get to our B&B.Remember
to check it because the timetable changes in winter
and in summer.

Important:
Also be aware that there are 2 different Barcelona
Buses which are both operated by the same company.
Make sure to catch the right bus!. One bus
leaves Girona Airport and goes directly to Barcelona
(and vice versa) the other bus only leaves from
Girona centre and goes to Barcelona (and vice versa)
make sure you're catching the right Barcelona Bus.
There is also a shuttle bus from the airport to Girona's central
Train station (2,50 €, return ticket 4,80 €). From
here, there are regular train connections to
Barcelona.
You can expect to be in
Barcelona in about one hour and half. The price
could be around 20 €.
